African Bundu Safaris is one of the official Tour Operators that books accommodation and offers safaris in this 19 633 km2 world famous game reserve. The park, rich in biodiversity, was established in 1898 and stretches for 350 km from south to north along the Mozambican border before meeting up with the Zimbabwe border. It is a paradise for the wildlife enthusiast with nearly 150 different mammal species to be on the look-out for and more than 500 bird species.
There are ten fenced main rest-camps, a few smaller concession bush-camps and a couple of small camps at some entrance gates. The variety of accommodation ranges from camping sites to luxury en-suite and all the main rest-camps have either a restaurant or self-service cafeteria, a shop, electricity and a filling station. A few of the camps having swimming pools, where guests can cool off during the heat of the day. Open vehicle game drives & bush walks are offered at most rest-camps, with experienced Rangers.
